New Recruits Skills Orientation Session
23rd May @ CapeNature fields (details to follow closer to the time)
This session has been put together to introduce you to some of the skills that you will be trained in during the season. It’s a great opportunity to experience hands-on what being a wildfire firefighter is all about. It’s also a practical way to help you decide if you would like to join our station – there is no obligation to sign up if you attend this session.

New Recruits Fitness Walk and Entrance Interviews
29 & 30 May @ VWS JNK Base (details to follow closer to the time)
Should you decide to sign up, the next step is to take part in a fitness walk. This is not about cutting numbers, but will give you a good idea of the fitness levels that are required and something you build up to over the training season. The entrance interviews are a relaxed way of getting to know each other better, allowing you to ask questions and find out more about us.
