Avignon Estate in Hout Bay have been proactive in setting up a fire management plan for their homeowners, and Estate Manager Paul Adams called upon the VWS to assist them with their fire preparedness.

Members of the VWS spent an enjoyable hour on Saturday instructing homeowners in the use of fire hydrants and hoses, emphasising the importance of safety and correct use of equipment in all aspects of fire fighting.
